Cris Birks

Cris is a native of Hardin County and grew up on the family farm aiding her parents, uncles and two brothers in farming and in the manufacturing business. She has always had a passion for conservation and sees it as an art form on the land. Cris came to us in 2001 from Hardin County where she worked with NRCS for over twelve years. She graduated from art school in Staffordshire, England, and worked in the design department of a pottery firm there. After her return to the US, Cris began her career as a freelance artist and a historic conservator. She has a daughter, a son, a daughter-in-law, and a very cute granddaughter.
